On 6th November 2004 the gallery was re-opened after extensive renovations. Martin Baeten showed his most recent acquisitions. The gallery was officially opened by Mr. Isaac Lupari European Ambassador of Papua New Guinea. Guest speaker for the evening was ethnologist Mr. Jean P.L. De Keersmaker.
